Her summary of the podcast gives some insight :
Psychology is a profession that takes itself very seriously and rightly so. We often study for at least six years in the behavioural sciences and work with people in distress. I am so curious about how other professions view disorder and their strategies to resolve problems. Natalie Ubl Grant is a beautiful soul that wants people to be free of emotional pain that holds them back… sounds familiar… Sometimes the language is different but we have more in common than we do differences.

Are any of you scared to speak in public?
For anyone who doesn't know, I have always had an incredible fear of speaking in public this is still one of my fears I am working to overcome. So to do this podcast was a fantastic opportunity to face my fear.
I really feel that there is so much to learn from people who bring big emotional responses into our awareness, for me Carrie did just that when she asked if I would like to go on her podcast. If only we could view these moments as potential for growth for our soul all of the time. Thank goodness this time I was able to see it that way and gave it my best shot.
Thank you Carrie for the growth I had by taking the leap to share my story.
