Do you want a natural easy way to JUST RELAX? Are you feeling stressed, exhausted and unhappy? Have you tried meditation before and failed? Mindfulness Based Meditation brings the principles of mindfulness meditation into everyday life by teaching specific skills and practices that can be incorporated into daily life which help break cycles of anxiety, stress, unhappiness and exhaustion. During this 2 hour session you will have an opportunity to tune in, and get in touch with yourself, who you are, what you really need and what emotions are trying to tell you. Meditation and mindfulness are more than just the de-stress button, it’s a way to find a peace within, a peace that spiritual traditions talk about that surpasses all understanding. There is a space in between thought that can be achieved and meditation is a way to get in to that space. Once you connect with that space between thought you find you are able to go there anywhere any time. Like anything it takes a little time investment to build the skills so you can walk around in meditation for most of the day. This space is where you connect with a deeper wisdom, a wisdom that connects us all. |
We will connect to that "space" between thought, where you can connect to your inner wisdom and explore what is coming up for you, growing your natural ability to meditate and be mindful with ease. The aim of this one day workshop is to increase trust in yourself, love for yourself and enabling you a natural way to just relax.
I've tried meditation and I can't do it!
Yes! Everybody has this experience when they first start mindfulness meditation practice. It is not a problem and won't stand in your way of developing ease and peace in your life throughout this 2 hour workshop. Most people in the class will feel the same way.
We need to start with where we are at. If we are busy and preoccupied - that is the perfect place to begin. Initially, mindfulness practice is really about becoming familiar with your own mind and body and exploring ways to calm, relax and simply explore how who we really are.

What happens in the class?
Each week we will discuss the topic and be guided through a 10 - 15 minute meditation. We will discuss what we experienced during the meditation as this process helps find clarity and reduces the self doubt about what you experience. Then there will be a very easy practice to take with you in to the week.
The aim is to incorporate the mindfulness practice into your everyday so it becomes part of you. You will get to a point where you can't remember your life without it.

Who runs the class?
Reiki Master Natalie Ubl Grant is a caring teacher and has been running these meditation classes in Buderim for the past 2 years and has had amazing results. Natalie has found that providing a space for women to gather and practice mindfulness is a valuable tool for her participants for personal growth and to create the peaceful, happy lives they were searching for when they first joined.

It is the experience and practice that will lead to lasting and profound changes for you. Training in mindfulness offers a very portable set of skills so can be practiced anywhere, anytime.
But to benefit fully from the program are you willing to make a commitment to undertake some daily formal practice for the five weeks? This will make all the difference to the results you see with the course and in your life.
